VARGATES Medical
In CASE-015 the blue now sits on the child's skin, not on the whole frame
For paediatrics teachers and students: the sign this case asks you to recognise is now shown where it is looked for on examination, and as strong as the case itself describes it. You can check it in the open run, no sign-up needed.

At the end of October the studio updated the pictures of the clinical case CASE-015 on the VARGATES Medical platform. Version 1.25.0 came out on 28 October, followed by 1.26.0, which is the one now live. The case can be played without registering: scenario page.
Three degrees, taken from the case text
A bluish tint is applied to 86 frames. Its strength follows what the case says about the child in each frame: moderate during the spell, mild in the three endings where the child improves, marked in the two critical endings.
In version 1.25.0 the critical endings also tinted the equipment: the dome of the bag-valve mask, the tube and the doctor's gloves. The equipment turned blue while the child's skin barely changed. In 1.26.0 the equipment is left out: the colour sits on the face and lips, the fingertips and the toes, with a soft edge, so it reads as a sign on the skin rather than a filter over the picture.
Where the redraw began
Sixteen frames of the first stage — arrival, home and history taking — have been replaced with photoreal ones. Each is drawn from three approved views of the characters. The remaining scenes still use their earlier drawings.

The medical history in the scene now opens as a white sheet with dark text. Text-to-background contrast measured in the browser is 11.37:1.

The clinical part is untouched
Scenes, student actions, scores, the timer and the endings did not change in either version; for each of the two publications a dedicated test checks this. A published version of the case is never rewritten — a new one is added alongside it.
